Trio of pumpkins by crazedjacksparrowfan Trio of pumpkins by crazedjacksparrowfan
I've been wanting to upload these photos of my pumpkins this year, and I also noticed there was a contest going on, so I figured why not? :) This year I carved a horse, a wolf and the Cheshire cat! They were a lot of fun!
Happy Halloween everyone!!! :pumpkin:

Wow! That Cheshire cat is amazing. You sure you didn't use a pattern? ;P No, really. It's that good.

Thank you! Yeah, it was a pattern, but there's nothing about that in the rules. I've seen other people's pumpkins carved with patterns in the gallery. Although I was attempting to make my own with a horse skeleton, but I couldn't figure it out. It would've looked really cool :)

;P Sounds like cheatin' to me! XD It is really cool, though.

:D A horse skeleton would be awesome! I bet I could do a horse skull...

Ha, it really does :XD:

That would be great :) I wanted to do a horse skeleton with the horse's outline around it, but I just couldn't figure out a way to carve that.

XD The outline would be hard. I'd laugh if you ended up with... er... invalid geometry.

Yep, I think I may still try it though. What do you think? I'm using this picture as a reference: [link]

Oooh, I drew a picture off that photo once. XD I think you'd have trouble carving that. Cutting through the rind to make lines that small would be tough. You could try; I don't mean to discourage you. But I think you might want to try just a skull and neck first.
